Alto Paraíso is so much more than "just a place to stay." It is always an experience that deeply connects with people. We are brillantly hidden in the quaint village of Reguengo Grande, in Portugal’s western mountains. We have taken traditional Portuguese architecture (what was once upon a time an operational vineyard) and infused the property with modern comforts, whilst committed to protecting and further developed the serene beauty of nature that our hilltop gardens, fields, and orchards are blessed with.

Unparalleled Hospitality: We are the Johnson family, and it will be our pleasure to host you. We pride ourselves in making every guest's experience one of those trips they will "always remember fondly" and "never stop talking about." And, of course, our guests keep coming back for more.

Prime Location: A short 45 minutes from Lisbon (the drive is absolutely lovely). We are a mere 10-20 minutes away from pristine and world-famous beaches, lush vineyards, and dozens of medieval villages.

Tailored Experiences: We host wellness retreats, team/leadership events, adventurous excursions, dozens of other curated experiences that suit a wide range of clients and their needs.

Luxurious Comfort: Relax in our elegant accommodations, including The BIG House with 5 suites or Our Cottage for a cozier stay. In all we have nine rooms and for retreats can accomodate upto 23 people.

Engaging Activities: Beyond curating experiences for groups we are committed to making every guest's trip spectacular. With very short notice we can plan: scenic hiking trails, surf classes on world-class beaches, excursions to explore local cuisine with farm-to-table dining and boutique wine tastings.
