Lead Instructor
Lalit Kumar
Mr. Kumar is the Founding Director of Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre and a renowned yoga instructor. A native of India, Lalit has been teaching yoga for over 20 years in India and internationally. He is a respected figure in the global yoga community, sharing the wisdom of yoga directly from its source.
Lalit’s yoga journey began at the age of seven in a traditional Indian yoga school, or Gurukulam. He has studied under some of India’s most respected yoga masters. In 2003, Lalit was initiated by Swami Veda Bharti into the Himalayan Tradition. He has spent nearly a decade studying various traditional styles at Ashrams across India.
